CFNI is a partner in two cross-border measures: 5.3 Developing Cross Border Reconciliation & Cultural Understanding (ERDF) (closed). 5.4 Joint Approaches to Social, Education, Training & Human Resources Development (ESF) (largely allocated, still open).

Combat Poverty Agency Combat Poverty is one of the intermediary funding bodies responsible for implementing two cross-border measures in partnership with the Community Foundation of Northern Ireland and Co-operation Ireland.

Co-operation Ireland An Intermediary Funding Body (IFB) responsible for implementing the following measures: 5.1 Increasing Cross-Border Economic Opportunities 5.3 Developing Cross Border Reconciliation & Cultural Understanding 5.4 Joint Approaches to Social, Education, Training & Human Resources Development Measure 5.1 is administered by Co-operation Ireland, alone. Measures 5.3 and 5.4 are administered by a consortium comprising Co-operation Ireland, Combat Poverty Agency (CPA)/Area Development Management (ADM), and the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland.

Educational Guidance Service for Adults EGSA provides “funding to organisations and groups through our Intermediary Funding Body (IFB) role in Peace II. We are contracted by the Special European Union Programmes Body (SEUPB) to administer that part of the Programme which aims to improve the level of Essentials Skills“… particularly among those who have been affected by the conflict and those whose existing employment is threatened.”

NIPPA - The Early Years Organisation NIPPA is an IFB responsible for grants under measures: Measure 2.5 One-off grants of up to £3,000 will be available for setting up; strengthening projects; or for staff training. These grants may also be used to provide technical assistance for applicants and projects which show potential but require further work before a final decision on a project can be made. Revenue grants are available of up to £50,000 towards eligible costs associated with existing or new provision ie expenditure on rent, salaries, national insurance, office overheads, training fees and essential travel Measure 2.8 Small one-off capital grants towards adaptations for children with special needs, assistance with provision of outdoor play space, equipment, building and other capital costs. There will be no funds available for large capital grants.

Proteus (NI) Ltd This organisation has been appointed as an Intermediary Funding Body under Peace II, with responsibility for some elements of Measure 1.3 (New Skills and New Opportunities). This is a measure intended to develop a culture of lifelong learning and to support the economic transition of Northern Ireland and the Border Region. The measure is also linked to the ESF Policy Field of Lifelong Learning.

Training for Women Network Online Training for Women Network Ltd is responsible for administering funds under: Priority 1 - Economic Renewal “The programme priority aims to realise the economic opportunities which peace brings while at the same time meeting the challenge of replacing employment which will be lost in traditional sectors and assisting individuals employed in those sectors in making the transition to other sustainable employment.” Measure 5 - Positive Action for Women “This measure will support activities, which improve women’s access to, and participation in, the labour market. It will assist in improving further participation by women, support entrepreneurship and develop women's access to emerging work opportunities deriving from peace.” “The aim of the priority and measure is to improve women's access to and participation in, the labour market and to improve entrepreneurship among women.” Activities • The promotion of entrepreneurship as an option for women. • Identification of barriers, which impede women from entering and progressing within the labour market. • Support for confidence building actions and basic skills development. • Providing skill enhancement and training, which promotes access to employment and career development.
